The old wooden building was beautiful, and I slept wonderfully. The old streets and bazaar are only a few feet away. From the moment I arrived until I left, the host and his wife looked after everything and made me feel special. She also makes delicious cookies and sauces! I was there for less than a day, but the impression has stayed with me. During my ten days in Turkey, which I visit often from Uk to explore different places, this was the best day and night. I was travelling solo, but the place still felt magical and would be perfect for couples. Safranbolu has become one of my favorite towns, there's something magical about it.

It's in a great spot near the historic city center, but the rooms are much too small. The bathroom is incredibly cramped, about 2 square meters, I believe, and almost unusable for families. If you're traveling as a family, consider staying somewhere else. Also, you have to take your shoes off when you come in.

The old town is right on the doorstep, and we had a terrific view from our upstairs room during our four-night stay. The place was clean, with AC, and the Turkish breakfast was delicious. You take your shoes off as soon as you enter. Don't miss the peach 🍑 jelly 😍 I could work remotely downstairs because the Wi-Fi was fast enough there, but it got a bit slow upstairs. We highly recommend the place and will definitely come back 🥰 Thank you so much Müzeyyen Hanım and Kamil Bey for being so hospitable 🫶🏻

The location was splendid, just two minutes from the busy main bazaar. Safranbolu should be visited in summer for the saffron fields. I booked the family room, which had a double bed and two single beds, and the room was spacious. The bathroom was a little small, but otherwise the room was very good. Breakfast was a delicious, proper Turkish Kahvalti.

The building's authentic feel was lovely, and everything was within walking distance. At night we could hear just the birds and the prayer (ezan) from the mosque. Kamil Avci and his wife Muzeyyen were wonderful hosts, and we'd love to return.
