19 Oda Bozcaada (Adults Only)

The recommendations from 19oda helped us make a lot of memories despite having limited time. We had another wonderful holiday in Bozcaada, with an amazing breakfast adding so much to the experience. Thanks for everything. I hope we can find an available room when we come back!

A cheerful place with happy people. The service is good quality, the location is really nice, and the prices are fair 👌

The room was very small, so I’d suggest choosing a larger one. The breakfast, served at a cafe about a 2-3 minute walk away rather than at the hotel, was average and had no alternatives for things like how the eggs were prepared. It didn’t meet my expectations. I’m afraid of cats, and the cafe only had outdoor seating, so I spent all three mornings trying to eat with 10 cats around. That bothered me, though I realize it may not bother everyone. Had I known breakfast wasn’t on site, I wouldn’t have chosen the package that included it. The good points were the clean room, helpful staff, and excellent central location. But sound insulation was a serious problem. The doors were very noisy, and even when people tried to close them slowly, they made a racket and had to be slammed shut. After 6 or 7 in the morning, the door noise made it impossible to sleep. We were on the ground floor and heard everything, including noise from neighboring hotels.

We picked Room 19 based on the reviews for our first trip to Bozcaada. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the location made it easy to walk to the ferry and other amenities. But the ground floor, or at least our room, was really noisy. Sounds seemed to echo in there one evening, and early in the morning we could hear the shower in the next room. The door kept opening and closing, and every sound carried. The mattress and pillows also didn’t feel up to hotel standards.
