Hotel Amira Istanbul

The top-floor room was spacious, though the hotel had some wear and tear and the bathtub could have used a little touch-up. The front desk team, led by a warm and knowledgeable manager, made our 10-day Istanbul trip especially memorable. They shared activity and sightseeing ideas, arranged guides for some, gave specific transport advice, pointed out what to see, and warned us about things when needed. Their restaurant recommendations were superb.

Breakfast was incredible, with fresh juices, freshly churned butter, honeycomb served on the frame, and gozleme made fresh. The amenities were great too, and the water pressure was strong. Amira is in a fab location, around a 10-minute walk from the hippodrome, sultanhamet attractions, and tram stop. We loved our split stay. The staff were all helpful and friendly, always looking for ways to help us, and welcomed us back with real warmth on our second visit. Special class hotels like this have a huge variety of room types. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

We came from Canada for six nights on our honeymoon, and Hotel Amira was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the breakfast buffet had loads of choices. The fresh Gozleme each day was a real treat, and honestly this was the best included hotel breakfast I've ever had. The main attractions are an easy walk away. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly. We asked for recommendations, and Mert gave us a map, took us to the breakfast room, then spent 20 minutes going over restaurants, sights, and how to get around. Every staff member was incredible, and Mert treated us especially well. There are lots of hotel options in Sultanahmet, but I'd strongly recommend staying at Hotel Amira. I rarely leave Google reviews, but felt I had to this time.

Amira has the feel of a boutique hotel with modern luxury, right in the heart of Sultanahmet. It was blissfully quiet despite being only a five-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The rooms were massive and spotless, with beautiful hand-painted ceilings. Service felt personal, like being welcomed into someone's home. The team shared local tips you won't find in guidebooks. From the rooftop terrace, you get sweeping views of the Sea of Marmara, a great setting for a drink or a sunset photo. Breakfast had traditional Turkish flavors and dishes made to order, perfect fuel for exploring the city. If you want a stay that feels as epic as Istanbul, Amira is a great choice.
