Breakfast at the garden of Defne Bag Evi, a separate establishment, was simply amazing. I’d come back just for that, and you should definitely try their homemade wines too. The apartment is a lovely 4-bedroom place in a 1+1 concept. Its price is at or below the island average, so the price-performance ratio is very reasonable. The owners are sweet and attentive. If you’re unsure where to stay, you can definitely try it.

We chose this place again this year. Since it’s in the hotel area, it’s away from the center’s crowds and there’s no parking problem. It’s close to the center, where parking can be difficult, and there’s parking available here. The rooms are clean, roomy, and air-conditioned. You can book it as a 1+1 apartment, with space for 4 people to stay comfortably. It suits families or groups of friends. Thanks for the treat.

We stayed 2 nights and 3 days, my wife, me, and our two children aged 6-11. There were spaces right in front of the guesthouse, so parking wasn’t an issue. It’s especially convenient if you arrive by car: the roads to the beaches start just outside the center, right past the guesthouse, and you can reach any beach in 5-10 minutes. The center is only 2-3 minutes away if you want to explore. It’s a charming two-story building with 4 apartments. Our place had airy, spacious rooms and was clean. There’s a bedroom with a small balcony, plus a living room, kitchen, and another room. It’s nicely designed inside and has two sofa beds, a stove, refrigerator, pots, and other basics. Two TVs were enough for us. A few things could use attention. There wasn’t a trash can in the room, and although the ceramic floors had beautiful patterns, a couple of rugs would have been nice. The sofa bed was very worn and wobbled everywhere, so it needs replacing. The small, low-quality dining table also needs replacing, as one leg had already been damaged by previous guests. The garden in front is lovely but neglected, with no tables, chairs, or shade umbrellas. The next-door guesthouse had a much more professional, well-arranged garden, and this one could use improvement. There was just one clothes drying rack in the garden for all the rooms, which isn’t enough. The kitchen pots, pans, cutlery, and so on were very old and long overdue for replacement.

The rooms were spotless, and the whole place felt safe and peaceful. What made our short but lovely Bozcaada holiday especially memorable was how warmly Ms. Gülay and Mr. Cemal welcomed us. Their sincere smiles, friendly chats, and hospitality made us feel as if we were among old friends, not strangers. Every detail felt carefully thought through. Thanks so much for making the trip unforgettable. We know where we’ll stay if we return to Bozcaada! ❤️☺️
