Aksoy Hotel Bozcaada

The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of Turkish delight, cakes, pastries, and delicious jams. Tea and coffee were always offered as well. We stayed four friends to a standard room, and it worked out well. Since it’s a small island, the location made it easy to get around on foot. What stayed with us most was how warmly Hatice Hanım and her family welcomed us and said goodbye. They were sincere, kind, and attentive, and we were really happy with our stay. You can tell they put a lot of love into this family-run hotel.

We’re already hoping to book for next year! 😃 My brother Ömer, who runs the business, was welcoming and attentive from the hotel through to the ferry after I’d made our reservation. We first found the place on social media because of Aunt Nazire’s bread, but the whole family made us feel like guests in their home: Aunt Hatice, Uncle Ibrahim, Aunt Nazire, their daughter Kübra, and granddaughter Azra. Yusuf joined the team later, and deserves a big thank you too.

It felt like a home away from home, and I was very happy with my stay. Mr. Ömer and his family were always smiling and easy to communicate with. The rooms were clean, spacious, and cool, and breakfast was made with produce from their garden. The family-run hotel is close enough to walk to the center, and there’s parking too. Everyone was so friendly while still being professional. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it :)

On my second visit, I was just as pleased with everything. The room was clean, and the family-run place has such a warm feel. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and they offered coffee after every meal. I’ll definitely come back when I’m on the island. Thanks so much for everything.
