Del Mar Hotel

We’d paid in advance for an online reservation through ETS, but when we arrived, the hotel was overbooked and had no room for us. They first offered a pension room with a shared bathroom, which we turned down, then found a lower-level room at another hotel that we had to take for the night. There was no apology or compensation for their mistake. They wouldn’t even let us have breakfast there and sent us to the other hotel, where it was very poor, just cheese, tomato, and stale bread. I can’t recommend this place and won’t stay again. Young Neslihan was the only one who helped us, and she was quite polite.

You’re just a minute on foot from the attractions and restaurants, which is a real plus. The hotel is small and has a nice interior, but the rooms have poor soundproofing and there’s no water or other service in them. Breakfast is served at another place, on the terrace beside the hotel.

A really nice place to stay in Bozcaada. I’d recommend it.

We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with it. Del Mar Hotel feels comfortable, almost like home, and it’s a lovely family-run place with spacious, clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast for both taste and variety. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Anıl, who was so sweet and attentive. Thanks to his suggestion and help, we booked the ferry for our return and got back easily without waiting in line. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you’re going to Bozcaada.
