We made the mistake of staying here with friends last weekend. Three rooms had broken air conditioning and were freezing. The manager, Nazlı Utku, shouted that it had worked that morning and that we must have broken it. We asked her to find an electric heater, but she offered blankets instead. When we said the cold needed to be dealt with, she was dismissive and told us to take our money and leave. The solar water heater also failed because it was cloudy, so we couldn't shower. For a place that operates in winter, having no electric or other heating seems very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Looking online, you'll find previous guests reporting the same issue.

Even on a winter day, we had a great time at Eylem Guest House and will definitely stay there again on our next island visit. We were in a spacious four-person room in a four-room suite, on the ground floor, with plenty of air. It had a minibar and air conditioning, and everything was clean. The owner, Nazlı, was such a sweet lady, and we were surprised by the reviews. Since breakfast wasn't served in winter, she suggested another place, and she explained what we could do around the island. Thanks for the tea and the pleasant conversation.

We enjoyed our stay and left happy. The staff and owner were very nice and helpful, and put a lot of effort into looking things up for us. We stayed with friends in the first week of August, and found it quite good compared with other guesthouses and hostels. Prices averaged between 300 and 350. Breakfast was at a restaurant they have an agreement with. The rooms were clean. We had to wait a little because we arrived early, so we left our things in the empty room and headed out.
