Kalais Hotel

For a local feel, this is the kind of place where you feel at home. The sheets were clean, the food was fresh, and the suggestions around town were great. Special thanks to Burcu for everything :)

The rooms were really clean, and this family run boutique hotel is in an awesome spot with a great view. Breakfast was amazing too. Keep asking for more "hurma" made by Aunt Oya, and that fried thingy with cheese. I could never get enough, especially with the homemade jams!

The shaded patio was a great place for the excellent breakfast, including a different surprise dish freshly made by the mom some mornings. The family running this lovely boutique hotel were warm and friendly, and always helped with our island questions. My room was clean, with snow-white sheets and a nice, clean bathroom. It had everything I needed :)

At Kalais in Bozcaada, we stayed in cozy rooms with AC, which came in handy in the hot weather, and a nice bathroom. We especially appreciated the hosts, a humble, sweet family who helped us find their little hotel by coming to pick us up on their mopeds. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of Turkish treats to choose from and a lovely view of the Agaeian Sea. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it :-).
