Çalı Otel

That chicken soup at breakfast was unbelievably delicious, on another level 😋. The hotel is right in the city center, and the staff are hardworking and really friendly. I was comfortable enough in the room to add an extra night. Thanks for a lovely stay, and did I mention the chicken soup?

Stayed for a longer stretch, and it worked well. The staff were friendly.

A fantastic place right in the city center.

After an 18 km hike around Camiliyayla village and its two plateaus on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, we checked into Çalı Hotel as a group of friends. We like to explore the social side of places we visit, so being right in the center suited us well. Even with that central location, the sound insulation was excellent and we heard no city noise. Our rooms were spotless, and we all rested well and woke up refreshed. Breakfast was quite good for a 3-star hotel, too. Traveling with our group can be demanding for a hotel. We arrive together, all need showers around the same time, and ask reception questions on all sorts of unrelated things at once. The hotel's facilities and the staff's ability to handle it were really impressive. The staff were attentive and friendly, and handled the balance just right: sincere without being overly informal, serious without looking grumpy. Their practical, constructive way of dealing with problems stood out. The hotel has stayed in our hearts and memories, and we'd like to return for future nature walks in Bozüyük or Pazaryeri, except for camping trips. We travel both in Turkey and abroad, and lodging for a group like ours usually leaves us moderately satisfied. The central spot also made it easy to spend time around the city and region after we'd settled in and freshened up. I'm grateful, on behalf of the group, to Mr. Fikret Tezcan, who was in touch with us before the visit, and Ms. Sibel at reception, who responded positively to all our requests and took care of them.
