Burhaniye Merkez Otel

The breakfast wasn't good, and the room was very cramped. It might do if you're alone and only need somewhere to sleep, but you can find better places for that price. The listing says there's parking, but there isn't, so you have to find a spot by the road. It also says Ören public beach is a 15-minute walk away, though it actually takes 15 minutes by car.

There's a bakery downstairs, and the noise from the shovels clattering and bakers talking starts around 5 a.m. I had to book two nights in advance, and I'm writing this at 6 in the morning because it's impossible to sleep. I called the front desk, but it didn't help. The noise only got louder. This is a hotel and that's a bakery, how can you get that wrong? Adding this in response to the owner's reply: I first heard the clattering around midnight, then asked the front desk about it the next morning. They said it was coming from the bakery downstairs and moved me to a room on the floor above. The noise carried on the following night too. When I asked again in the morning, they confirmed it was the bakery. Either your staff don't know, or you don't. And do scrap dealers really show up at a building undergoing urban transformation in the morning?

From the outside, you wouldn't guess this is such a clean, charming hotel. We booked a family room with an extra bed and a sofa bed, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was the one drawback. It's so small that you practically shower in the toilet. Special thanks to Mr. Göksun.

I booked a room for my son, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive while we communicated by phone and WhatsApp. The hotel owner is lucky to have employees like them. Thank you so much.
