Bursa Kar Beyaz Hotel

We only stayed one night, but the room had several problems. There was no concierge, and no dustbin in the room. The pillows were small, old, and flattened with time. The toilet stank, and the shower area hadn’t been cleaned properly. The AC didn’t work, only the heating did. My room faced the road, so with the window open, traffic noise made it hard to sleep; with it shut, the room got hot from having no ventilation. I called reception for help, but the gentleman said he couldn’t do anything.

The rooms were clean, and the price felt fair for what we got. We were so happy they let us check in early, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Breakfast was generous, too. The hotel is well placed for getting around Bursa, and we left with lovely memories of the trip.

Room sizes and setups vary here. One option has a double bed plus a small single bed for a child, but some rooms are cramped. When booking, request a larger room and one at the rear of the building to avoid traffic noise.

The team made the stay. They were genuinely helpful, even with questions unrelated to travel, and never bothered me for anything. The cleaning staff kept everything hygienic, and the room was spacious, well equipped, and very clean. I only missed having an ironing board. At night the room was nice and dark, and I slept well without being disturbed, despite the busy market next door. The hotel is right in the city centre, facing a taxi rank and tram stop, with good restaurants close by. Breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel in Turkey, and the lobby is beautiful. Prices are very reasonable. I'll stay here again on my next Bursa visit.
