Bursa Palas

This was my second stay, and the staff were lovely, friendly, supportive, welcoming, and respectful. I can't praise them enough. Bursa Palas Hotel made my stay comfortable, and its location puts you in the middle of everything, opposite the famous Ulu Mosque, market, and shopping centre. There are lots of places to eat and visit, including castles, museums, Turkish Baths, and Ulu Daĝ, a ski resort about a 20-minute drive away. The views are exquisite, with old and new buildings, and I love Bursa. I was able to visit my parents' graves every day since they were only ten minutes away. Thank you, Bursa Palas Hotel.

Worst hotel service ever. Our ferry was canceled because of bad weather, and we were traveling with two elderly people. The contact person refused to refund the hotel booking and told us to go by car, a six to eight hour trip. They said it wasn't their problem. Please don't book this hotel.

The hotel is very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything available in the room and bathroom. We spent two nights in room 203, and it was amazing. The staff were very helpful. It's right in the center of the old city, so you can walk to all the tourist places.

We chose the family room because this hotel had queen beds and let four people share one room, unlike most Bursa hotels where we'd have needed to book two rooms. It turned out to have two separate rooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. The rooms are dated, as I suspected from the reviews, and the side-street location means there's no view. But the bathrooms were stocked every day, breakfast was great with plenty of variety, and the location is handy for the bazaar, Grand Mosque of Bursa, and bus and tram stops. The longest walk we took was about thirty minutes to the Green Mosque and Tomb. The reception employees were incredibly helpful. They wrote down the important places to see in Bursa and recommended their pick for the best iskender kabab. I'd stay here again for the convenient location and awesome staff.
