Celik Palace Hotel Convention Center & Thermal SPA

I'm from Taiwan, and the stay was better than I expected. The room was comfortable and the staff's service was excellent. It's a bit away from the city center, so the location may not suit everyone, but I loved the elevated position and the great view over Bursa. The spa was another highlight for me, especially the hot pool and sauna. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend staying here.

The cigarette smell made the room disgusting for a non-smoker. I don't understand why they still leave ashtrays in rooms for people to smoke. The central AC just spreads the smoke around. I'd advise travel agencies to stop using this hotel unless it changes its smoking policy.

The balcony view over the city was wonderful, and there are several buses right outside the entrance, including 1A, 3C, and 6E to the center. The hotel is a little out of the way, but Nur and Cignam at reception spoke good English and were especially kind and helpful during our four days. Everyone was polite and smiling, and breakfast had lots of choices, with hot dishes changing each day. We were nervous after reading some Google reviews, but our stay turned out great. A group of teenagers staying nearby was noisy the first night, though that's not the hotel's fault. We had a relaxing time in Bursa.

This was far too expensive for such a dirty, dated hotel. The rooms were cheap and badly maintained, and the rooms, hallways, lobby, and whole property were extremely dark even during the day. The food was awful, especially the desserts. Since the hotel is at the end of a dead-end street, you have to walk 200 meters just to get out. For this price I could have stayed elsewhere, and I regret choosing it. I strongly recommend staying away and saving your money.
