We were there as a family, and it was the worst night of our lives, a nightmare we can’t forget. Hygiene was at zero. There was a huge clump of hair hidden under the towels in the room, the whole apartment smelled of cigarettes, and the sockets were broken with wires hanging out. The toilet is hardly even worth talking about. The hotel isn’t worth a single cent.

The sheets and sofas were stained, the rooms were filthy, and the plumbing was broken. We regretted going and were hesitant even to shower. There were no towels or toilet paper. Despite our agreement, they tried to give the room to someone else because we’d gotten it cheaper. If we hadn’t shown them our WhatsApp messages, we would have been left out in the cold. Think twice before booking.

The place wasn’t maintained as well as the photos on Sahibinden suggested. Smoking is allowed in the rooms, despite claims that it’s prohibited, and they even leave ashtrays there. Cigarette smoke gets in even with the windows open. The bathrooms smell strongly too, and all the perfume they use to cover it up doesn’t help. If you need a clean place with a kitchen, you could look on review sites such as Trivago or Otelz Hotels instead of Sahibinden.com.

We stayed in Muradiye as a family. It’s near the center but away from the crowds. Cleanliness wasn’t great, though it was acceptable for a stay. Parking means using the park across the street, and it costs 300 TL per person. I’ve seen much worse places, so you might consider it.
