The rooms were clean and the service was perfect. There isn’t parking on site, but the person in charge of the apartments arranged a place for us to park. One thing to watch for: the apartments are about 100 meters up the street from where the map pin shows, on the left. I’ll try to edit the map location and hope it gets corrected.

In winter, this is the coldest place in Turkey.

The whole apartment is made of wood, which really makes you feel closer to nature. It’s right in the center of Ayder, and the place is lovely, clean, and quiet. We had no trouble with parking, thanks to Hasan Bey’s effort to sort it out. The owners are helpful, and we’re very grateful to Hasan Bey and his family for this lovely stay.

Ayder is a good area for a one-night stay, and the bed sheets were clean. The room had a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, along with extra beds and blankets, though there were no disposable slippers. We didn’t like the shower, and there were insects, possibly because it’s a mountain area. The rooms and bathroom themselves were clean.

It’s central, clean and decent, and the prices were quite reasonable compared with nearby places. Uncle Hasan was so helpful, warm and friendly, and we had a great conversation with him. He also gave us really good suggestions for places to visit.
