The setting at Kaçkar Hotel & Resort in Ayder was breathtaking, with lush mountains, fresh air, and incredible views. My family and I travelled all the way from Canada, and the stay surpassed what we expected. The hotel is beautifully designed, mixing modern comfort with local character. Our room was roomy, clean, and cozy, with a balcony looking out across the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide range of fresh local food. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and went out of their way to make things enjoyable. What I’ll remember most is the calm atmosphere and being surrounded by nature. It’s a great base for relaxing, hiking, or exploring the area. We’d happily come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Black Sea region.

Even in the snow and cold, staying in the bungalows was a fantastic experience. The river running behind them and the natural surroundings were lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was still served despite the covid restrictions. Our water heater didn’t work, so they gave us another room to use. We enjoyed our time together, and it was good value. The main shortfall is that the water and room heaters in the bungalows need upgrading.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, and the staff are friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. I’d suggest choosing a room on the side away from the chimney. The restaurant food was good, though I’d stick to the local dishes on the menu.

I loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The river was right by my room, and its sound was amazing. The room was really clean and smelled great too. I wish I could spend my whole life here, but I’ll definitely be back. Thank you.
