Kotit Ayder Bungalov & Restaurant

The view over the river from the cottages is unreal, and the place was a great escape from city life. Everything was clean and well cared for, and the staff were very helpful. We stayed two nights with our two kids, who I thought might get bored, but they had a backyard full of rabbits and a few dogs to keep them entertained. We'd love to come back.

The views and bungalows are nice, but this wasn't good value for money. I run a tourism company in Dubai and booked for a group. Once the host learned we were Arabs, she tripled the price, and we ended up paying about $340 a night. That would have been easier to accept if they had at least been kind. There was no room service, which I could understand at a lower price or if we'd been told beforehand. The hosts were really rude, didn't understand what my clients needed, and refused most of their requests. I don't recommend it.

The location was great, and the owners and staff were genuinely helpful and kind. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast rule: everyone staying in your bungalow has to eat at the same time, so you can't go on your own.

We had a lovely, restful stay at Kotit Ayder. It was quiet, the scenery was great, and our kids had fun in the river, with the pet rabbits and dog too. The bungalows suited our family of four, with enough space to hang clothes to dry, though they are quite bare. There's no refrigerator, counter space, or çaydanlık. An electric kettle (elektrikli su ısıtıcısı) would've been handy for coffee. Breakfasts were phenomenal, and the location made it easy to get around to everything we wanted to see. The staff were kind and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting with them. One woman speaks English really well if you need it.
