The hotel and town were lovely, but we left with a sour feeling about the payment demands. When we paid for tours and transfers booked through the hotel, we were pushed to use cash. Paying by card meant a 30% surcharge on top of the price, which felt like a rip-off. I’d bring plenty of Euros in cash if visiting Goreme to avoid that fee. The transfer driver also drove in a way that felt unsafe, like a “rally racer,” and treated us more like a load of logs than passengers. Another disappointment for an early May visit: although the hotel advertises pools and sun loungers, the pools were completely empty from May 1st to May 5th. Check when they’re filled if you need a working pool, since they weren’t usable during the first week of May. There were good points. Our spacious quadruple room had a fireplace we didn’t use and a large bathroom with both a shower and jacuzzi. The restaurant was cozy, and we enjoyed the plentiful Turkish buffet breakfasts each morning. The hotel is just off the main street, so it was quiet, and the center was an eight-minute walk away.

The room was quite big and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. It’s a nice, budget-friendly hotel, around 400 meters from the shops and center. The rooftop view is lovely, and the restaurant serves cozy, tasty food. We did have water leaking in the washroom, though, and some of the TV channels didn’t work.

We stayed for two nights and would come back. The balcony and restaurant both had great views, and breakfast was really good with lots of variety. Everything else was good too. Receptionist Mr. Ismail was helpful, friendly, and there whenever we needed him.

We stayed in May 2025, and the staff’s warm, kind help made the visit feel special. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the large bathroom had plenty of hot water and a good shower. Breakfast was tasty, sufficient, and offered a good choice. The place is charming and eclectically decorated, with restaurants in town within walking distance. I’d recommend the rooftop lounge, where you can have a drink on oversized pillows and look out at the rock formations.

The main thing I’d change is breakfast time. Starting at 8:30 felt unusual for a hotel, and management might consider an earlier opening to better fit common hospitality practice. There were plenty of breakfast options, though, and the staff were helpful. We stayed four nights in a spacious deluxe room with a very large bathroom. The location is an easy walk to Goreme city center, and we had a pleasant stay.
