Yege Villa Bungalov

Huge thanks to Enes Bey. He was welcoming and friendly, took our complaints seriously, and acted on them right away. We really appreciate it and hope to see him again next year.

The view was lovely, but our stay was a mess. On August 9, 2025, five of us, my wife, father, mother, sister, and me, arrived in Rize after problems with another bungalow booking in Çamlıhemşin led to its cancellation. We ended up at YEGE VILLA BUNGALOW. The uphill road is very steep, though it's gravel and not in bad condition, so be prepared for the climb. We found more than 10 black insects, which looked like cockroaches, in the room. There were flies everywhere too, as in the attached pictures, and we sprayed repellent. With no window screens, we kept the windows closed. Around 3:00 AM we gave up and slept in the car. The place clearly didn't feel hygienic. Breakfast was lacking as well. In the Black Sea region we'd expect kuymak or mihlama, but we were told those cost extra. The service was insufficient and hygiene poor.

The terrace breakfast with that view was perfect, and the bungalow, its cleanliness, and the whole setting were wonderful. We found this place through reviews and I'm very glad we followed them. The drive was accessible by car and the road wasn't bad. Mr. Derviş was lovely to talk with. He and my wife being from the same hometown gave them plenty to chat about. We also drank cup after cup of tea brewed on the stove, I honestly lost count 😀. I liked our stay so much that if I return, this is the only place I'd stay. Reviews really do help each other. Thanks for the recommendations. And I didn't see a single insect.

The room was roomy, comfortable, and clean, and we loved the amazing view. The staff were friendly and ready to help. We were really happy with our stay, thank you so much for everything! 😊 I'd definitely recommend it.
