Stella Hotel

Memo Ali from the grill section helped me a lot, and he’s a really kind person who cooks great meat. I wish everyone were like him. We had a great time at this really good hotel, with the sea close by and very good food.

Avoid this place. The sheets and pillows had stains, and hygiene across the site was very poor, with dirty dishes and cutlery and a bin smell that lingered everywhere. The bathrooms were grim. Music was extremely loud and went on late. There were no double beds, just two singles pushed together without a headboard. The light switch was behind the pillow, so you could turn the lights on in the night. The air conditioning worked, but its outdoor unit took up much of the balcony, leaving little space.

I spent a week here with my 2 Sisters and 2 nephews, and everyone working there was amazing. They were kind, warm and always smiling, and we’ll keep them in our hearts. I hope we see each other next year! A special thanks to the girl with red hair, the man at the bar, the men from the restaurant, and the Fitness Girl. You were all amazing. The good parts were the helpful, polite staff in reception, meal service and housekeeping, the clean pool, the nearby beach and the hammam, which was worth trying. The rest of our all-inclusive stay was poor, and I wouldn’t book here again or recommend it. I’m sure the five-star reviews are fake, so beware. The rooms were very old and had several problems, including a faulty shower door and a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly. Lighting was poor. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was low quality and sometimes old. There was no air conditioning in the hotel itself, only in the rooms, so we sweated while eating indoors. When we asked the young, curly-haired manager about adding a night, he offered us a smaller, lower-level room for the same price we’d booked. The hotel already wasn’t worth 200 CAD a night given the problems and meals. He’ll probably respond and threaten life imprisonment, but we have witnesses to his scam tactic.
