It has been six weeks since we were told our money would be refunded, and after five calls and an email, we were finally told to contact our bank. When I said I would post a review and photos or video if they did not honor the promised refund, Özlem hanım said she did not care and told me to post it. I used to own a business, so I know reviews can have an effect. I want people to know what they may be sleeping on. I wish I could add pictures here, but there is no option. We had booked and prepaid for two rooms for two nights, which already seemed unusual. After a long drive, we arrived late in the afternoon. There was no hotel parking, and although the place looked clean, it had an old, musty smell. I always inspect the room and mattresses before settling in. The mattresses were disgusting, with blood stains, marks that looked like bedbug stains, and what seemed to be stains from previous guests' accidents. Every bed was in the same state. We felt so uncomfortable that we wanted to leave and cut our trip short. The manager, Özlem hanım, and her male assistant inspected the mattresses. She said we could get our money back for all the rooms and that it would take up to 10 business days. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

For an Aussie hoping to visit Anzac Cove, this worked well for a two-day stay in Canakkale. The surrounding area was fabulous, with excellent restaurants, pubs, and cafes. The bakeries were great too, with delicious pastries for an inexpensive breakfast alongside Turkish tea or coffee. The hotel is in a great spot and the staff were very nice. The rooms were clean, though tiny, so they weren't somewhere to relax or lounge after a long day.

The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the centre, which suited us well because it was quiet at night and away from the bars and clubs. We spent a weekend there as a getaway, staying two nights with my wife. The room was spotless, and the receptionist was extremely polite. They also make sure guests follow the no-smoking rule, and the prices aren't extortionate. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet.

We found bedbugs and blood stains on the mattress, and the bathrooms smelled. We decided to leave and drive back home to Istanbul. I had booked and prepaid for two rooms for my family of five, and we arrived late in the afternoon to discover there was no parking. After checking in and going to our rooms, the problems began. The manager, Özlem, promised a refund within 10 days. It's been over a month and we still haven't received it. Whenever we call or email, she blames their bank for the delay. I will never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were great and the location was great too, but the room was a bit dirty. Parking was difficult as well.
