4/10
The hotel is old, with very few amenities and small rooms. The manager is very friendly, and the location is good, with buses and taxis available from Çanakkale Bus Terminal (Otogar). The Trojan site is far away, though. In particular, I'd avoid a first-floor room. The third-floor room has been rearranged and improved a little, but don't judge the hotel by its image.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is not bad. They don't clean every day, though you can ask for fresh towels. Something is wrong with the shower, but the water gets warm enough.

The people were nice, but I had the smallest room and the bed felt like a rock. The air conditioning was really loud. It's also the only place where I haven't felt comfortable drinking the tap water, and my bathroom smelled of mildew.

We'd booked the wrong date, but a staff member helped us get a room. The location was great, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast was good. Good hotel.

10/10
The location is convenient and close to all the attractions, and breakfast was tasty. The rooms are clean, but the toilet is dirty. There is a window, though it can't be opened because the neighbors are so close, and no sunlight gets in.
