It felt more like staying at a friend's place than at a luxury hotel, and I'd be glad to return someday. The accommodation was clean and within walking distance of the seafront and Çanakkale center. The owner was really friendly and did a lot to make the stay comfortable. I'd recommend it.

The rooms really are as clean and inexpensive as the owner said, and also very small. The staff were helpful with plenty of travel and sightseeing tips, and even did a load of laundry for us at no charge. It's an easy 15-minute walk into town.

Yousef helped me out with bus times and suggested places to eat over WhatsApp. The staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the other staff member was a lot of fun and extremely helpful. They really like Aussies and Kiwis, so I felt looked after. I'd stay here again if I return to Canakkale.

The location was great, just a few minutes on foot from the old city center and ferry terminal, and the rooms were spotless for the price. Jim was a terrific host who loves talking about the world, especially Australia and New Zealand. He also rented me a car at a great rate for my own trip around the Gallipoli sites, which saved me a heap of Euros.
