We liked the breakfast and the seafront location for walks, but were disappointed that there was no juice. Our room overlooked a car park rather than having one of the nicer views. The bathroom plumbing was frustrating: the tap mixer kept falling off, and the shower selector would always switch back to the bottom faucet instead of the handheld or overhead rainshower, making it very hard to wash. The air conditioner struggled to cool the room, and power cut off whenever we left, so the fridge couldn’t keep anything cold. During the night, a strong cigarette smell filled the room. We couldn’t tell whether someone was smoking outside our door in the hallway or near the air-conditioner intake. One rubbish bin was broken, and the single sheet or blanket on each bed felt quite scratchy.

We had a comfortable, very clean room and an excellent breakfast. Our room overlooked the Dardanelles, and the Juliette balcony was a lovely spot to catch the water breeze and watch the sunset. We also enjoyed walking along the shore, seeing people fishing and all the cats, watching traditional dancers perform, getting snacks and ice cream from vendors, and people watching.

They gave me a birthday present, which was a nice touch, and the window had a nice view. The location is perfect, close to the town centre, and free parking is a plus. The room could have been more comfortable, though, and the air conditioning didn’t cool it enough.

The parking is free, but the area is small, and guests have to leave their car keys at reception so staff can move the car if needed. The breakfast was disappointing too: the menu was limited, lacked variety, and items weren’t replenished promptly. My room wasn’t clean enough, with dirty floors and a red stain on one of the beds. There was a lot of mold in the bathroom, and its light didn’t work. The staff weren’t welcoming, and the hotel’s overall condition fell short of what was advertised. These problems seriously affected my stay. I’m very disappointed, can’t recommend the hotel, and won’t return.
