Degerli Motel

There were insects crawling around the balcony, and we ended up cleaning the room ourselves, including washing the toilet and bathroom. The rooms weren't clean, the curtains were torn, and both the dishes and kitchen were very dirty. Cleaning quality was zero. Breakfast and food were simply expensive. We don't plan to come back as a family.

The rooms were awful, and even the water came in plastic cups. We were there for three days: green beans on the first, grilled chicken on the second, and dried beans on the third. A complete fiasco.

The place feels peaceful and welcoming, especially because of its location. They put cleanliness and reliability first, and the public relations are excellent.

Urkmez is packed with apartments and low-grade hotels. A lot of them feel more like hostels or guesthouses, third-rate and poor quality, almost like somebody turned a five-room house into a hotel.
