Figen Hotel

Breakfast had a good selection, and the dining area was pleasant and fairly quiet. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with good, sufficient basic facilities, and it wasn't expensive. Staff were generally helpful and efficient. Keep up the service, Mr. Doan.

It's a quiet location, though a bit far from the main part of Canakkale by the seaside, where the restaurants are. The rooms are spacious, with good amenities and A/C, but the mattress is a little firm and springy. WiFi was very unreliable. Breakfast was alright, though there was no coffee or toaster. Staff were friendly but had limited English.

The location is excellent, right in the city center and near everything, and it was good value for the money. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices. Our clean room had the essentials, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. No request for assistance seemed to be a problem. The receptionist was especially nice and helpful, and spoke many languages, including English, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish, and Japanese. Would definitely recommend it.

We looked at lots of hotels before finding one that seemed to meet its claimed standards. FIGEN is economical, well maintained, very clean, and in a silent, peaceful area. Mr. Doan is very kind and helpful, the internet is high speed, and room service is very good. If you're looking for an actual 3 Star hotel in town with facilities on a budget, it's highly recommended.
