We chose this peaceful, quiet place because it’s less than a 30-minute drive from crowded Uzungol. The mini market and food store on site were handy for what we needed. Saleh and Mohammad were helpful and attentive with our questions and requests. Good job, kaya life..

The nature there is truly astonishing, and the local people were so friendly and hospitable. We couldn’t continue along the hard, winding road because our car wasn’t suitable. It’s a new resort with fresh, clean rooms, a restaurant with a great mountain view, good food, and superb service.

I flew from my country to Trabzon and drove to the hotel at 9 pm. The road was very dangerous at night. When I arrived, the hotel had cancelled my booking because they couldn’t reach me. My internet signal was poor, but I had already booked through booking. This was an unacceptable experience, my first time in Turkey. They told me to find another hotel, which was awful with it being high season and so hard to find somewhere at night in this region. -10/5 star ********

There’s not much to do around the hotel if you aren’t an avid reader looking for quiet and fresh air, and the surrounding area is very poor. Still, it’s a calm place with great sights all around, about a 30-minute drive up the road from Uzungol lake. The small hotel is one of the few good hideaways in north turkiye. Rooms are spacious, clean, well maintained, and five star. The restaurant isn’t bad compared with other options nearby, and may be the only relatively good one.
