We spent five lovely nights at Viola Hotel and would happily return whenever we’re in Alaçati. The pool is clean and pleasant, though on the small side, and the town center is an easy 10-minute walk with shops along the way. There’s also a bus stop about 10 minutes away for getting to the beach. The rooms look great, are clean, and have comfortable beds with fresh sheets at check-in. If you arrive early, the staff offer tea while they get your room ready. Everyone was so kind and kept checking whether we were comfortable or needed anything. The owner works there too and is very relaxed and nice. The cook is lovely, and the food is really good. Once in a while a dish might not taste right, but that doesn’t happen often, and they’re human too. They’ll cook things at any time. For what we paid, with the location and what the hotel offers, it’s the best value I’ve had so far. Everything we needed was nearby. Thanks, Viola Hotel!

We stayed for two nights with my Turkish-speaking family, and came away very unhappy with how we were treated. The booking description strongly suggested breakfast was included, but it wasn’t, and guests should know there’s an extra charge per person. When we asked about it, Emre responded in a hostile, defensive way. The atmosphere felt contemptuous for the rest of our stay, and it was uncomfortable enough that we considered leaving. That evening we found the room hadn’t been cleaned or serviced, and there weren’t enough towels for our group. After the breakfast discussion, a meal was put together at our table that seemed deliberately worse than what nearby guests received: items were missing, portions were small, and the dishes and cutlery were lower quality. My partner and I are doctors from the UK and both speak English and Turkish fluently. We were appalled by Emre’s attitude and the frankly rude customer service. We can’t recommend staying here. I’d also take into account the Google reviews that warn about staff behavior, since they reflect what we experienced.

We stayed eight wonderful evenings, which made the whole experience even better. This is a boutique hotel with an atmosphere that felt genuinely like home to me. It’s also just a four-minute walk from all the action in central Alacati, and having parking available was a big plus. Mr. Emre and his family gave us a warm welcome, and the breakfast was out of the ordinary. This was easily my favorite place to stay during my time in Alacati. Mr. Emre does a great job here, and deserves all respect for the hospitality.

We had the basement room for seven nights at Alacati Viola Hotel. It was spacious, clean, renovated, and had AC. We spent warm days cooling off in the garden pool, and also got to visit the beach some days and explore the city center, which is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Emre, his family, and the staff were all kind and attentive. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back.
