Sureyya and her husband, the manager, were very kind and helpful, and breakfast was wonderful. The place is away from the bustle, but the lively, charming city centre is still only a 5 minute walk. You can also use the pool at the older sister, Eldoris, next to Alaris.

Breakfast and service were great. The wifi was bad, and the jacuzzi wasn’t worth paying extra for.

Just perfect!

The breakfast had different choices each day, which was nice for variety, but hygiene was a problem. And PLEASE DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE POOL PHOTOS ON THE BOOKING SITE. The pool is shared with another hotel, and as an Alaris guest you can use it, then have to go back to your room. You can’t use the sun loungers and such. There are lots of pictures of the pool and its surroundings on the booking websites, though, so I assumed it was part of the hotel. I didn’t think to ask about it again until I contacted them on WhatsApp. I booked three nights for Eid al-Adha and asked to cancel three days before arrival because of communication problems. They refused, saying they’d already taken the full payment. The manager seemed clueless about running a hotel and was rude to me. When I explained that the photos were misleading, she spoke to me in a disgusting tone, saying she hadn’t claimed there was a pool and that there was nothing she could do about the cancellation. They shouldn’t put those photos on the booking page if guests can’t use the pool facilities. The man, who I assume was her husband, was friendlier and more helpful. She acted egotistical and wouldn’t even look at you when you asked for something. Everything was fine until they got their cash :) I’ve stayed at countless hotels in Alaçatı, and this is only the second time I’ve had this kind of experience with a manager. Consider the other people who’ve had problems and left reviews before choosing this place. I’m including the pictures they posted on the booking sites as if they were their own, so others don’t get fooled.
