Alacati Lulja Hotel

We checked out two days ago, and we won't be choosing this hotel again. We booked because of the price-performance ratio, but expected more. Room cleaning is only done on request, and there's no minibar or even water in the room. We thought water was included, but when we left we paid 120 TL for two 0.33 ml plastic bottles. Our room was advertised as deluxe, yet there wasn't even a wooden chair besides the bed, and deluxe rooms don't have balconies. The water also turns ice cold if someone else is showering at the same time. We brought our own products, so it didn't affect us, but there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom. There's no pool at this hotel, though guests can use the pool at Cadde 75 hotel, which is very nice, by reserving with Mr. Eren. Breakfast was ordinary, with eggs as the only hot item.

We were happy with our stay overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. Our room was generally clean and we had no issues. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Alaçatı center, and with only seven rooms and no other guests booked while we were there, it felt especially quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was different on each of our two mornings. We enjoyed it, though a little more choice, especially hot dishes, would have been nice. Thanks to the friendly woman who prepared it, I think her name was Nuran, for the baklava treats. We chose a garden room, but there was no mosquito screen on the balcony door, so we couldn’t leave it open at night. There’s no mini-fridge, and the mini-bar was sparse, just two waters, a few Nescafe packets and some packaged tea. The TV isn’t Android, and there’s no pool. For the same price, some nearby boutique hotels offer a pool and a more substantial breakfast. I’d rate it 3.5/5.

The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully put together, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff were warm and welcoming too. Lulja Hotel is also close to the center of Alaçatı, which makes the location a real plus. I’d definitely recommend it for what it offers and where it is.

Eren Bey’s help made a big difference after Pazarama Tatil made a booking mistake. Lulja was wonderful, and the hotel itself lived up to everything we expected. The staff were so lovely that if we come back, this would be our only choice.
