Antmare Hotel

We were there for around five nights, and Antmare Otel Alacati lived up to what we expected. The facilities were clean, attractive, and well maintained, and breakfast was great for both its taste and range. Staff were attentive without hovering. A special thank you to the hotel team, especially the young employee with disabilities, who did a great job and clearly took responsibility for his work. We work with young people with disabilities ourselves, so it was moving and inspiring to see them included in hospitality in such a safe, respectful setting. We had to leave very early and sadly couldn’t leave a tip, though it was well deserved. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’d gladly return.

The food here is such good quality that there’s really no need to go elsewhere for it. And if you do want to head out, the location is convenient and close to all sorts of places people might want to visit. My family and I have been coming every summer for seven years without missing one, and we’ve never had anything to complain about. Everyone at the hotel always gives us excellent service and hospitality. I can easily recommend it to anyone staying in Alacati.

The place is lovely inside and out, and the rooms are great. Cleaning was perfect every day, and the staff were wonderful and helpful. Sue, who worked at breakfast in the restaurant and later at the pool bar, was especially nice, polite, professional, and always smiling. One thing disappointed me: we’d paid for the room and breakfast, but scrambled eggs or an omelet cost extra. I’ve never come across that before. Everything else was great. The bathroom could use towel rails or hooks.

The food was outstanding, especially the authentic local Turkish dishes. I had the best Manti I’ve ever tasted. Antmare is spotless and luxurious, with a spa centre that’s hard to beat. There are several pools, indoors and outdoors, for anyone who enjoys swimming. The views of the mesmerising Aegean sea take your breath away as you arrive, and the staff welcomed us with such warmth that they made us feel like family.
