Atrium Taş Otel

We were relieved to leave after a truly terrible stay. The one good thing, and it's free, is the location. At this price, the rest made it a very poor hotel. I've stayed in better hostels. The room was small, and the bathroom and towels were dirty. I felt disgusted taking a shower. The sound insulation was the worst we've ever experienced in a hotel, and we've stayed in many. We could hear everything, including our neighbours walking, sneezing, and using the toilet in the middle of the night, so we couldn't sleep. The receptionists weren't attentive and seemed to try to take extra cash. We called before arriving and five times during our stay to request a baby bed, but it never came. In the end, my husband carried it to the room himself. The cleaning staff also left no water or toilet paper. When we asked for water, a young man asked if we could pay cash for something that should have been included. And the worst part: they charged us 1000tl (£25/€30) for three omelettes. That's an insane price. Nobody told us the cost when we ordered them at breakfast; they acted as if they were free.

We booked a standard room for one night before catching an early ferry the next day. It was a cozy hotel with parking, and our room was a decent size, bright, clean, well air conditioned, and had a small balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. Since we had to leave before the usual breakfast time, they kindly prepared breakfast for us early. Many thanks to Mr Selim and Mr Mehmet for their help. I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay.

It's close to the seafront but far enough away that noise wasn't an issue. The location was great, and we'd stay again. One small problem: the bathroom needs a shelf for toothbrushes and similar things, and our patio door was broken and wouldn't lock.

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. It's a great location too, about a five-minute walk to the nearby port and town area.
