The dirty plates and cutlery, along with the lack of napkins, were another problem. We’d booked three days for New Year’s but left after the first night. The room was supposed to sleep four, yet even two of us could barely fit, and there was nowhere to open our suitcases. It also didn’t look like the photos. We were told those showed rooms at Ayayorgi Hotel. There was hair in the toilet drawer and on the bed, and the sofas were stained. The receptionist came to clean after we complained, but we didn’t see much improvement. We won’t stay here again.

That supposed garden room doesn’t even have room for a table, so I wouldn’t pick it over a balcony just because the garden sounds nicer. I booked a four-person room for myself for three nights and four days, and told them when I checked in that friends would join me the next day. It already had two beds and a sofa bed, but when my third friend arrived, we were told, “If there’s no fourth person, there’s no bed” when we asked for an extra one. At breakfast the next morning, the meal was brought to our table first, then we were charged extra for the second and third guests because the reservation was for one person. But they knew that before bringing breakfast, didn’t they? When we objected, the owner said, “You’ve never been to a hotel before.” I understand that problems can happen, but that disrespectful, sarcastic response was unacceptable. Running a hotel means welcoming people, and this place fell far short on courtesy, hospitality, and professionalism. I definitely don’t recommend it.

The quiet, well-kept atmosphere made it easy to relax at Ayayorgi Homes. The rooms were clean, bright, and furnished in a modern style, with small practical touches that made for a comfortable stay. Its location worked well too, peaceful but still close to the lively spots in Çeşme. We had a really lovely holiday and I’d happily recommend it to anyone wanting to unwind and enjoy a nice break. I’d like to come back when I get the chance.

We’d happily return after a really enjoyable three days in the garden suite. It was quiet, comfortable, and, above all, clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was handy, with essentials nearby. Çeşme Marina is very close, and Alaçatı market is about a 15-minute drive away. Definitely recommend it.
