Cumbalıca Garden Hotel

One small drawback: there’s no elevator. Otherwise, I had a really enjoyable stay, and the hotel exceeded my expectations by a lot. The rooms are cozy, spacious, clean, and nicely designed. Ilica beach is very close, with everything you might need nearby. A minibus passes right outside and goes to the center, and taxis are available too. The private beach area is a little small and has no sand access, but it’s clean and comfortable, with good service and decent prices.

There’s a cute patio, and it’s a clean, pleasant place close to the sea and some good restaurants. The service was friendly and good. There’s no lift, and I tried the breakfast once but didn’t care for it. There wasn’t much variety. Everything else was wonderful.

We make a point of staying here whenever we visit Cesme, in summer or winter. Ilica is a small, beautiful town with a lovely sea and nice places to go. This is easily the best hotel in Cesme, with great staff, a good supervisor, nice rooms, and a very good location. I hope the other boutique hotels around here pick up a few things from this place.

The staff were so friendly and polite, and the rooms had plenty of space for the luggage of our family of three. I was helped with carrying my baby stroller up and down the stairs, even though the hotel wasn’t child-friendly. Breakfast was served at the table, and a few small things were sometimes missed, but that didn’t take away from my review. The location is great, close to the beach and the hotel’s own private strand. It’s a fairly new, modern boutique hotel with a beautiful building. Construction was still going on, but it never disturbed us.
