The air conditioning was the only thing I liked. We were taken in by the reviews, but there were plenty of other places at the same price, and the stay was a total disappointment. There’s no elevator, and the room was like a stuffy closed box. It was filthy, and the toilet was disgusting. The window was broken and wouldn’t shut; it looked onto the hotel, so opening it didn’t help air the room either. The TV remote didn’t work. I changed its battery, then found there were no channels. Reception said they couldn’t do anything because we were only there for one night. The Wi-Fi was broken too. Breakfast was in a courtyard full of flies and bugs, with lice seemingly everywhere. It felt like the hotel was telling us to just close the door and leave.

The location was excellent for our short stay, close to shops, a pharmacy, transport and the beach, and the prices were very reasonable. The reception lady was lovely, the dogs were adorable, and when we mentioned the shower head was missing, the kind staff quickly brought us another. But the room was tiny, dark and stuffy, facing the courtyard. We could barely move around and had to shift the bed just to open our suitcase. The floors had holes and scratches. The fridge didn’t fit properly and wouldn’t open, and neither would the freezer.
