Puka Otel Alacatı

I stayed with my sister, but we left after two nights even though we'd paid for four. The bathroom was dirty and smelled awful. There was mold on the glass, the brush was rusty, and the drain didn't work properly, leaving water on the floor while we showered. The showerhead didn't work, so we could only use the hand shower. They also charged us for water when we asked, even though the tap water wasn't drinkable. We reported our experience to expedia. A few days later, the owner's daughter called my sister several times and messaged her on WhatsApp, accusing us of lying to expdia and threatening to report us to the police. She said we just wanted to leave and were making excuses to check out, and claimed we'd changed hotels for airport transport. Bareface! We did switch to a better hotel, because the staff there cared about guests and were super friendly. The owner of Puka Otel and her daughter need to learn hotel management. That's no way to speak to guests or frighten them over sharing their experience with expedia. She also wrote that mold in the bathroom is normal and isn't unhealthy. Honestly, was she kidding me?

Ms. Seda and her friendly team made my week a wonderful one. The hotel works well for a family visit or a business stay in Alaçatı, and there's plenty of parking. It's a five-minute walk to anywhere you'd go in the evening. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast was delicious, with natural ingredients. Wishing you all the best 😉

The room we had, the one with the fireplace, was spacious and airy. It was on the ground floor facing the small back garden, and noise wasn't an issue for us. The homemade toiletries smelled lovely, and the place was so clean that even the vanity and inside of the drawers, where I regularly check with wet wipes, came up pristine white. They also made a lovely gesture for our honeymoon. The only thing we missed was a shelf for shower items, and we forgot to mention it. Breakfast was high quality, with two hot dishes each morning, served in the peaceful garden. Nobody rushed us or made us feel awkward about the hours, and the Turkish coffee was delicious. The family were welcoming and asked if we needed anything whenever they saw us. We loved their sweet daughter, Yaz. She's cute enough to make a visit worthwhile on her own :) We stayed four days in peak season and parking was no problem, with spaces easy to find on the street. The market is a five-minute walk away, while the hotel itself is away from the crowds and noise. This was our third holiday in Alaçatı, and Puka Hotel was the most charming and beautiful place we've stayed. We were hesitant after another disappointing hotel with a 4.9 rating, since some hotels use wide-angle shots and photos from different angles to make the same area look bigger. They also ask every guest for a review, so keep that in mind when choosing. Puka Hotel looks just like its photos, and we wanted to leave this review because we genuinely care. This will be our only stop in Alaçatı from now on. Thank you so much.

The people working here are warm, cheerful, attentive, and reliable, and their sincerity comes through :) The hotel is charming, spacious, and very clean, with spotless rooms, toilets, and bathrooms. Service, hygiene, and attention were beyond amazing. It's also an easy walk to the market. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
