Boyalık Beach Palms Hotel

We had a very pleasant stay in May 2025. The location was perfect, the food was excellent, and all the staff were attentive and friendly. Miss Gulzar Z. was especially lovely. We’ll definitely return.

The food was a real letdown. Dinner wasn’t edible, and the chicken smelled old and unpleasant. The furniture is very old and nothing like the photos online. The bathroom also fell far short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel, and the toiletries were just one combined product fixed in the shower instead of separate shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. I booked this as a five-star property, but it doesn’t meet that standard. I’d say even three stars is too much. The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable. Since I was travelling with my family, they couldn’t put us on the same floor when I asked to change rooms. The alternative was even smaller, so I had to stay in a room whose windows didn’t close properly. Wind blew in noisily all night, and the technical team said that was normal and couldn’t be fixed. The heating didn’t offer a better option: turning it on brought a strong cigarette smell into the room. So I was left choosing between the cold air coming through the windows and the smell from the heater. It was a very disappointing stay, and I don’t recommend the hotel.

The location is very good, and the team were friendly and attentive. We stayed three nights in September on a bed, breakfast, and dinner plan. The spa package with sauna, hamam, and massage was excellent, and the shower had superb water pressure. Housekeeping also deserves credit: the rooms were very clean and functional, though nothing special, and the rooms overall felt like four-star rather than five-star. The buffet meals were adequate, but not as varied as you’d expect at a five-star hotel. We were even charged for Turkish tea after dinner, which really should have been part of the dinner package. It’s a decent hotel, but don’t expect an international five-star experience. Would we stay again? Probably.

The building showed a little age, but it was clean wherever we looked, and our room on an upper floor faced the water. We were there as a couple in early May, when it seemed very quiet. I never saw more than five or six people around us at a time, so I’m guessing fewer than 20 rooms were occupied. It was warm and sunny during our stay. I’ve heard it gets very busy after schools close, when people from Europe and elsewhere head to these popular spots, so we felt lucky with our timing. Breakfast was included, and we decided to try dinner on the first night too. Even with only three couples in the dining room, there was food in quantities that could have served a hundred or more, along with plenty of staff.
