Ege Tulip Hotel

It’s a cute, clean hotel with a surprisingly peaceful feel despite being in the middle of a neighborhood. The staff were caring and friendly, always greeting us warmly. Breakfast came in portions, but they’d bring more if we asked. The place looked smaller than it did online, yet we were happy with what we got. It was still above our expectations, one of the best hotels I’ve visited in Turkey.

Buse welcomed me warmly at reception, and her instructions in English were clear. My room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed, a roomy bathroom, and a balcony. The hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood near the bus station (otogar), while the town center, port, restaurants, and ferry to Chios are all walkable. Breakfast was an excellent Turkish spread with cheese, sausage, jam, chocolate spread, omelette, fresh salad, bread, coffee, and tea. The service from Buse and her colleagues was great. I’d happily return, and this place could deserve a five-star rating.

The owners treated us like family and helped us through the language barrier. When my mum got sick, they looked after her with food and medicine. We were delighted with the comfort, the sounds of nature, and the hotel’s design, especially at such a good price for the luxury, cleanliness, friendly service, and location near Çesme’s town and port. We found a real hidden gem 💎. I loved Çesme, and this hotel was part of why. I’d absolutely come back and stay longer.

The family rooms are large, and the staff are friendly. At the April visit, breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but it was a nice Turkish breakfast. The hotel is by a park and about five to ten minutes on foot from the Cesme marina or city center. It’s fairly priced, and I’d like to return in summer to try the pool.
