A comfortable, clean room and a delicious breakfast made this a lovely family-run hostel. It stays quiet at night, too, so nobody's waking you at 5 a.m. Just don't expect a resort.

The view is excellent, and the location works well. I especially liked the breakfast, most of it seemed to be homemade. It's a quiet place, and I enjoyed my stay.

I stopped in for a refreshment, though I didn't stay overnight. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff seemed friendly.

It had been cleaned, so I can't fault it on that. But the place looked nothing like the pictures and felt very old. The shower head was broken, and the bathroom was in disarray. It came across more like a guesthouse.

The garden was a lovely place to spend time, with music and pretty views from the bar. Breakfast out there in the morning was both tasty and enjoyable. I liked the hotel's concept, too. The owners were warm and attentive, and the building is so charming you end up photographing it from across the street. It's close to the sea and pier, and minibuses make the nearby beaches easy to reach. We were very happy with our stay.
