Ladin Hotel

I only came for a day of sunbathing and swimming. The sea was full of fish, so it was good for snorkelling, though not the right choice if you want a sandy beach. The location was very nice, without noise or loud music, and the food was delicious. I don't know anything about the rooms, but since it's a long-running hotel, I imagine they should be fine.

The food tasted very good, the staff were helpful, and the beach area was large. It's quiet for the most part, though far from the center. Internet was awful, with no connection even during the day, and none at the main restaurant or beach. The TV picture was impossible to watch. The package includes breakfast and dinner, but breakfast drinks are free while drinks at dinner cost extra. Even a simple ayran that costs 2-3 TL at the shop is charged at 17 TL, and the hotel's website doesn't mention this. I might come back if I didn't have to pay extra for basic tea or coffee at dinner. Otherwise, it would make more sense to stay near the center with breakfast included and eat out for about the same price.

We paid 700 TL per night and had a very bad experience. The room was dirty, with two empty beer bottles still on the balcony when we arrived. All four towel hangers were broken, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the door locks didn't work. The bed was horrible to sleep on, and the TV picture was so poor we couldn't watch a football game. The service was very bad too.

The hot and cold food is superb, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We return to the Ladin Hotel every year for its beautiful spot in Çeşme, overlooking the Aegian Sea.
