Mandalin Boutique Hotel

Hayatımda gördüğüm en kirli yer. Bence sokakta yatmak daha temiz olurdu. Ayrıca kaydımızıda yapmadı, TC’ye bakmadı. The place was filthy, probably the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. He said he’d just changed the sheets, but there was a dead fly, lots of long black hairs, and other things I can’t even describe. I had to leave early because of an emergency, thank goodness, but he lied about refunding me and didn’t return my money, which I believe I was entitled to. He also didn’t register us or check our TC. Don’t go there, sleeping on the street would be cleaner.

They canceled my prepaid reservation after finding someone willing to pay more.

Good and inexpensive.

The breakfast was a real highlight. There were little bowls of sweet and savory spreads, olives, cheese, and eggs, and the Turkish coffee with mastic (Damla sakızlı Türk kahvesi) came with small pieces of Turkish delight. So good. We stayed a few years ago in a double room. It was small, but the modern furnishings made it comfortable right away, and everything worked as it should, from the electronics to the shower and toilet. The beds were very comfortable, too. I did miss having a balcony where we could dry towels and swimwear. It’s a small, charming hotel with few guests, which suited me. We got to chat with the owners every day, and their warm, attentive manner made us feel at home.
