We’d stayed at this guesthouse in past years, but hadn’t expected it to decline after the manager changed. Şirin Hanım seems to treat guests differently depending on whether she likes them, attentive to some and indifferent to others. We booked early at a good rate and were met with a sullen, uncaring attitude. Breakfast is listed as 9:00-11:00, but arriving late may get you told, “There aren't any left.” It’s a shame to see management like this in such a place. Two staff members walked out on the day we arrived, which says a lot.

The location was fantastic, just five minutes from the castle, and breakfast was very good. We stayed two nights in a wonderful suite and were very pleased. Ms. Şirin and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. I recommend it.

The air conditioning didn’t work and the doors wouldn’t close. When we raised those problems, we were told, “If you don't like it, leave.” The buffet breakfast was a sham: they ran out of eggs, cheese, and water, then asked us to clear our own plates. Communication and service were both nonexistent. We were four families, 11 people altogether, due to stay at Petunya Pension for five nights starting August 15, 2022. We’d paid two months in advance. The person named Şirin (meaning "cute") is no proper manager, more like a grumpy, innocent person. Petunya and Yeşim Pensions belong to the same person. This is an absolute disgrace. Don’t go, you’ll regret it. You're a disgrace!

We loved the terrace, and the location was excellent, with both the center and marina within walking distance. The new owners are very attentive. Prices are reasonable compared with other hotels in the area.

This guesthouse has a lovely vintage style and a nice atmosphere. Hakan Abi was very helpful to us. The rooms and restrooms could use a little improvement in cleanliness and maintenance.
