The beach is lovely, and so is the pool area, though be careful on the tiles. We saw several people, including children, slip. The pool also needs restoration, with lots of black spots. We were a family of five staying for three nights. The food was good, with a limited but acceptable choice. The restaurant and outdoor dining space, though, felt like a canteen and weren't cozy at all. Dinner music was so loud we couldn't talk properly. No one checked whether we wanted drinks, cleared our plates, or cleaned the table, which was really disappointing. Our first night was in a very old, badly cleaned room with a disgusting smell. After a lot of complaining, we moved for the remaining two nights. At least the new room had a sea view, which you'd expect when booking, but it was still old and smelly, and the carpet was disgusting. The bathroom was okay, just not five-star standard. This definitely isn't a five-star hotel. Glad we only stayed three nights.

The sea was amazing, turquoise and calm, and the beach was lovely. Breakfast and dinner had a great variety. It was a relaxing place for people who enjoy the sea and beautiful views. There aren't facilities like basketball, volleyball, or tennis courts, which is disappointing for a five-star hotel. The shower tiles in the bathroom were extremely slippery and could be dangerous for older guests. The thermal pool area in the spa also needs maintenance and didn't look clean. On our first night, the air conditioning was stuck in winter mode. Reception, guest relations, and technical service were very unhelpful and didn't try to switch it to summer mode, so we contacted General Manager Orhan. He resolved it very quickly and gave us an extra night free as compensation. The rest of the stay was fine.

We were there as a couple in early May, and it was warm and sunny. It seemed very quiet, with rarely more than five or six people around us at once. I heard it gets extremely busy after schools close, when people from Europe and elsewhere head to these popular places, so we were lucky with our timing. Our booking included breakfast, and we decided to have dinner there on the first night too. There were only three couples in the dining room, but they still had enough food for a hundred or more guests and plenty of staff to serve everyone. Our room was on an upper floor. The building showed some age, but everywhere we saw was clean and faced the water.

The sand and turquoise water are beautiful, the pool is big enough for the guests and looks clean, and the food was surprisingly good even if it gets repetitive. Staff outside housekeeping were lovely, polite, helpful, and hardworking. Guest relations was friendly and lovely to talk to, but nothing changed after we spoke. I'm still here, on day eight of a ten-day booking at Boyalık Beach Resort, and can't wait to get home. It wasn't terrible, but calling it five-star is a stretch. The place seems to have been lovely years ago; now it feels tired, with visible cracks, wear, and a clear need for maintenance. Housekeeping hasn't been up to scratch. With a toddler, I notice smudges, and in eight days the mirrored wardrobes and sliding balcony doors haven't been cleaned once. The balconies look untouched for years. Cups for in-room coffee and tea get taken away and never replaced. I made daily trips to the lounge bar for a cup, called reception several times to ask for some to be sent up, and they never came. Housekeeping told me it wasn't their job and that I should ask the minibar team. Who is that team? The crowd was another issue. Maybe the hotel ran a promotion I didn't know about, but I saw more manners at a Black Friday sale. People shoved and had no manners, and the atmosphere felt somewhere between a budget cruise and a school canteen. If you want peace, you'll have to find it within yourself. Come for the sun and food, but lower your expectations for the rest. Only come if you find an incredible deal, otherwise it isn't worth the money. There might be hope for the place if they fix the rooms, retrain housekeeping, and improve communication between departments.
