Flower City Suites

They should call this Spider City instead of Flower City. We spent two nights there, and it was the most frightening stay of my life. Spiders were all over the downstairs rooms, and the mold smell was overpowering. In one room, you could even see mold on the bathroom ceiling. We had phoned ahead to book, but when we arrived there was no reservation under our name. They did make one for us then. Staff weren't welcoming or helpful. In the triple room there were small insects on the sheets. When we called someone to change them, the staff member said it was nothing, though we insisted on fresh ones. Our rooms weren't cleaned during the stay. Very disappointing and disgusting. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay in the clean, tidy flat, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The sea is nearby, and the grounds have greenery, a large clean pool, and outdoor spots to sit with coffee and enjoy the weather. The view is lovely, and the place is peaceful. Each flat has internet and a smart TV. For a longer visit, though, the kitchenware really isn't enough, and there should be cleaning supplies in the flats. We still came away with nice memories. Flower City, thank you 🎉

Ahmet was great at sorting out whatever we needed, and the breakfasts were very generous. The pool was lovely too. These are brand new apartments, and we'd happily return. I'd recommend the place.

We booked all inclusive because we thought it would work well for the kids, but there was no food or drink service at the hotel and we had to eat out every day. Add the taxi costs and it ended up costing more. The hotel is a long way from anything, with the nearest shop about a 20-minute walk away and no bus route, so taxis are needed. There was also building work going on, with workers coming and going around the pool, which made it hard to relax. The hotel looked lovely, but the service was awful and it didn't have the facilities advertised. There was only one pool, and it wasn't suitable for children; no kids' play area, no restaurant or bar, among other missing things. Our room was clean on arrival, but in 14 nights it was vacuumed only twice. They never made the bed or changed the sheets or towels, and the kitchen had no dishes or utensils. The manager seemed sympathetic when we complained, but we felt brushed off. I asked for compensation since the hotel wasn't as advertised. She agreed with me, but did nothing to resolve it. It wasn't worth what we paid. There are better hotels in Yaliva or Cinarcik for a fraction of the cost. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Its failings ruined our holiday.
