Royalova Hotel

I was very satisfied with the service in this room, from the location to the staff.

The room was clean, simple, and tidy when I checked in, and for 2,600 through hotels.com, the price felt good for what we got. We booked a double room with breakfast for two for one night during our winter holiday. I took detailed photos before check-in. We're clean people but not fussy about it, and it was clean enough for us. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was the plate we chose, followed by spicy French fries and a hard-boiled egg each. They topped up our tea when needed. There was no refrigerator, which was a drawback, and we had to ask for water. The hotel is within walking distance of the sea. In the morning we had a wonderful, quiet walk right by the forest. The season hadn't started yet, so Çınarcık felt a bit neglected and some work had only just begun. It will probably be cleaner and livelier once the season opens. We left Royalova satisfied.

We found this place while looking online for somewhere to stay, and it turned out to be even more peaceful and lovely than we expected. The family atmosphere, warm hospitality, and thoughtful, kind service made everything feel wonderful. It’s quiet and charming, close enough to walk to the sea, and there’s a pool that’s heated in winter. We’re sorry to be leaving. I’d happily recommend it to anyone. 🤗🥰🏊‍♀️🤽‍♂️

The pool looked appealing when we booked, but it’s so tiny that two people would fill it. The woman in charge said there’d be cleaning on the second day. Inside the room there was no mini-fridge, kettle, or complimentary coffee or water. Food we brought could spoil, so we kept going out to eat, yet nobody showed interest, checked whether we needed anything, or even looked at us while handing over the key. Downstairs, water costs 20 TL and coffee is 100 TL. Breakfast required signing up, then we were told it was 300 TL per person. Given those prices, I wondered what breakfast could include. The cupboards were filthy, so I had to wipe them with wet wipes before putting away my clothes. My beach towel turned black and disgusting after I put it on the radiator to dry. This feels like a villa converted into a hotel by a couple, and the place seemed mediocre and far from professional. It felt completely commercialized and was a real disappointment. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.
