Hemerans Anatolia Boutique Hotel

We spent two wonderful weeks here, and if we come back to Cirali, this is where we'll stay. Kaan or Ummani, the hotel managers on duty, could be reached any time with questions. The owners seemed able to do everything and worked tirelessly alongside the team. Everyone made our stay comfortable, and their care and sweet humor meant a lot to us. The garden was beautifully kept and full of flowers, with roosters, hens, and ducks wandering around during the day. We loved the restaurant under its living canopy. The buffet breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. You could order from the menu during the day too. The food was ready and nicely served in half an hour, tasted great, and was very reasonably priced. Our spacious standard double in the main building was cozy, with a roomy shower and balcony. We fell for the building's unusual architecture. With several entrances and the way the rooms are laid out, guests didn't disturb one another, and the soundproofing was excellent. We brought our Chihuahua Martin and weren't charged for him. Perhaps that's because the owners love dogs themselves.

The bikes are available to hire for a fee, though they need maintenance, and the hot water wasn't reliable all the time. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place. It's set on a lovely green plot, the rooms are comfortable, and the beach is within walking distance. Breakfast in the morning was substantial and had a good variety.

We stayed in the two-room bungalow, which was spacious and in very good condition, with everything needed to cook a simple meal. The beds were comfy, and the terrace was just right for a drink and relaxing while looking out at the garden. When we visited in April, the citrus was ripe, so we picked some. Those were the best oranges and grapefruits I've ever had! HemeransAnatolia is wonderfully quiet and close to the sea, a great place to unwind among nature and switch off from busy life. Hanifi, the hotel manager, took good care of us and was always there when we needed anything. We enjoyed our time so much that we'll be back next year.

The cats and tortoises are awesome, and the WiFi was surprisingly reliable almost all the time. Staff were patient and friendly despite our complete lack of Turkish. They helped with laundry for 200TL and offered transfers if we'd needed them. Breakfast was plentiful, but it's best to arrive at 0900 because the hot items cool down. I also saw people reaching into the bread with bare hands. We spent two weeks in August in a ground-floor economy room for 55 euro/night. It was spacious, had great air conditioning, and sat at the back of the building, so it felt fairly private, with a small grassy patch out front. We appreciated having a kettle and fridge. The location was handy for both the beach and town, each a short walk away. The bikes and sun beds need a lot of work before they're fully usable, so don't count on them. Renting a bike in town is easy and cheap. I understand that staying a long time can make any breakfast repetitive, but it would be nice to see a bit more variety. The sprinklers turn the path to the economy room into a mud bath, though you learn to hop around it. Room cleaning was awkward for us because you leave your key in the morning and they clean in the afternoon. We worked or studied then and needed the room, so couldn't leave the key. Staff were happy to arrange fresh towels, though, and on a day when they could clean, they did a great job. We had a lovely time, appreciate how hard the staff work to keep everyone happy, and would stay again knowing what to expect, maybe out of season when it's quieter.
