Camp Meeting Point

I’ve stayed here seven times over the last five years. Up through last year, our brother Hamza was in charge, and everything was great, from the order and cleanliness to the rules. This year, the place felt neglected, untidy, lawless, and dirty. We had to stay, but I won’t come back. When Hamza looked after it, it was a garden. Now it’s turned into a wasteland.

I’ve visited three times this year, and this time it felt like a completely different campsite. The previous owner, Mr. Hamza, has left, and you can see the difference everywhere except the location and platforms. The grounds, toilets, kitchen, and refrigerators are all very neglected. We’d pointed out problems in earlier years and they were always fixed; now the shortcomings have piled up and are much more noticeable. It felt as if they’d opened for the season just for the sake of it. Communication is poor, too. Since we only came for a short stay, it didn’t bother me too much, but I may have to find another campsite besides Çıralı for the season. I’m giving 2 stars for the platforms under the trees. It’s sad to see such a beautiful area deteriorate.

The site is huge and in a great location, and the new owners are making an effort, though maintaining so much space is difficult. The person running it last year, in 2024, has left and someone else is in charge now. The shared spaces need work: restrooms, showers, closets, and the kitchen areas all need a complete renovation, and the tent areas need maintenance. It’ll take a lot of money, otherwise the place will get worse over time. I’m giving 4 stars for the location and their efforts, but the common areas need improving.

Camping on the platforms feels nice, and the campsite is close to the sea. The toilets and showers are clean. But from the photos, Ciralida used to look like a really nice campsite, and now it feels neglected and abandoned. At this rate, it’ll close next year. Such a beautiful place has become a dump. What a shame.
