Karakuş Pansiyon

The garden and kitchen area at Karakuş Pension were neat and clean, and our room was clean and perfectly adequate. Breakfast was quite good too. It’s conveniently located, just a three-minute walk to the sea. My wife and I stayed five nights. This is truly a family-run place, and Ms. Gönül and Mr. Mehmet were genuinely helpful in every way. Their friendly conversations made us feel right at home. Thanks again for the warm, family-style holiday ❤️

The bungalows were old and poorly maintained, the food prices were exorbitant, and the quality didn’t justify the cost. Breakfast wasn’t good either. For a little more than the accommodation cost, you could stay at an all-inclusive hotel. We’ve never had an experience like this, and don’t plan to return. Honestly, I’m surprised it has five-star reviews. Also, the listed location showed a beach restaurant, but the marker was wrong.

We were very pleased with our stay at Karakuş Pension and plan to return. Gönül Hanım and Mehmet Bey were cheerful, kind, and excellent hosts. Belgin Hanım deserves kudos for the wonderful jams. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and dinner can be prepared if you ask. We spent the last week of June here. The location is excellent, an easy walk to the beach. Our room was clean and spacious, more like a hotel room than a bungalow. The garden is lush, green, and very well kept.

Ms. Gönül’s warm chats and smile made the stay especially comfortable. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and breakfast was tasty and filling. We were very happy here. It’s a wonderful place.
