Plaj Hotel

We stayed here during a hike in the area and really enjoyed it. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the meals we had there were delicious. A very nice place to stay.

During our July 2025 holiday, Orbay, Şerifa and Tuba made such a great contribution to our time here. Thank you for that. The peaceful hotel, beautiful and interesting places, and wonderful sea have us thinking we may come back. Thank you!

This was our third trip to Çıralı, and we chose Plaj Hotel for six nights in a bungalow after reading the Google reviews. We liked quite a few things, but the manager’s approach left a bad taste and overshadowed the positives. Orbay and Yasin were friendly and helpful, and readily did what we asked. The bungalows sit among lots of greenery in an orange grove, and it’s only a 2-3 minute walk across the road to the beach. The hotel has sunbeds and 5 umbrellas. Some visitors from outside used them at times, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The sea was around 29C during our stay, which I found too warm. The room was clean, and the sheets and towels were changed every two days. Breakfast was standard, though the homemade jams were delicious and there was a different pastry each day. Lunch and dinner can be made to order, but there’s no à la carte or set menu. The problem was the woman in charge of the business. She seemed focused on money and asked for a down payment when we arrived as a guarantee. That felt unpleasant for a phone reservation, especially since online booking sites sometimes let you pay at checkout. On day two, while I was in the garden, she asked how I was and whether I needed anything, then reminded me about payment. I said we might need to leave early because my wife had suddenly become ill. Her expression fell, and instead of wishing her well, she asked us to tell her beforehand if that happened. After that, aside from a morning “good morning, how are you,” she didn’t ask if we needed anything. I don’t know how things would have gone if we’d already paid for the whole stay and then had to leave early. Çıralı is beautiful and quiet, with plenty of places to stay. We’ll return next year, but choose somewhere else.

I found Plaj Hotel almost by chance while walking the main road in Cirali. I’d just arrived and wasn’t happy with the place I’d ended up in, so finding this family-run hotel felt like a stroke of luck. I stayed more than two weeks in July 2023 and loved its shady, quiet setting, a welcome refuge from the scorching sun. The included breakfast was all-you-can-eat, with greens, vegetables, several cheeses, olives and hard-boiled eggs, plus watermelon, plums, jams and pastries for dessert. The hotel is right across the road from the beach, and I found the Wi-Fi stable and fast enough for work, streaming, video meetings and calls. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes a calm atmosphere, a clean place and a welcoming feel. I hope to visit again next season or later.
