The main reason we booked Grand 464 Otel through Hotels.com was the listing's promise of "safe parking," which was described as rare in the area. We were touring on two valuable Indian motorcycles, so secure parking mattered a lot. At the hotel, we were told to leave them on a busy public sidewalk in the city center. When we objected, the receptionist was rude and arrogant, and after an argument directed us to a public lot several minutes' walk away. We didn't feel the bikes would be safe there, so we asked to cancel and get a refund. He yelled at us and made us leave to find somewhere else at our own expense. Hotels.com has also refused to help with the refund. The parking arrangement didn't match what had been advertised, and it was the reason we cancelled. This was a nightmare. Protect your vehicles and don't trust this listing.

We found the hotel very convenient for exploring Rize, right by restaurants, cafes, and shops, and well placed for trips toward the mountain tea plantations. It felt new and was clean and comfortable. My room was modern and spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including fresh local products. The staff were kind, polite, and always willing to help. I really enjoyed my stay.

The room was tidy, clean, and spacious, and the hotel is right in the center of Rize, near cafes, shops, and restaurants. Staff were welcoming and supportive. Mohammed spoke Arabic and English, and the woman at the front desk in the evenings spoke English too. They also offered day trips to Ayder and other plateaus, depending on what was available that day. The breakfast buffet could be better, but it's good value overall and I'd recommend it.

We had two cars, and the hotel reserved street parking for us and helped us get parked. That was a real help with the narrow, hilly streets. I'd seen reviews raising parking concerns, but our experience was positive. The rooms were huge, modern, very clean, and gave us lots of room to relax. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a broad selection that changed each morning. The hotel is right in central Rize, so everything was close. We had a great stay at Grand464 Otel and would choose it again.
